3 of Eastern Canada's most lovable indie Honky Tonk gems unite for a revue of original Canadian hillbilly music and a few blasts from the past.
Supporting his 2017 release Having a Great Time Ryan Cook's acoustic live show combines thumb-picking guitar styles, original folk & country ballads and vintage music from the 1940’s and 1950’s. Ryan has received over 20 nominations in Atlantic Canada, 3 Album of the Year awards in Nova Scotia, written, produced and published music in Nashville, TN. On stage Ryan has toured as a solo performer opening for Country purists like Dwight Yoakam, Rosanne Cash, & Travis Tritt.
On her third album, Wasted Time 2017, Winona Wilde (real name Noosa Al-Sarraj) continues to redefine the image of the much travelled troubadour, with heartbreaking wit and honesty. Awarded the 2017 Kerrville, TX New Folk Festival Winner, and 2017 Colleen Peterson Award-Winner in Ontario, Winona Wilde's live show is innovative as it is traditional, and refreshingly unpredictable.
Accompanying Cook and Wilde on guitar is jazz virtuoso Mike Kerr, who has made quite a name for himself in the North American Folk Scene accompanying artists at Folk Aliance, Americana Fest, NERFA, Folk Music Ontario, and The East Coast Music Awards. One of the most lovable musicians in the Canadian Folk Scene Mike began recording his own music in the Fall of 2017.
